Major: I majored in Electrical and Computer Engineering May 2011. Getting my masters in Electrical Engineering in December.
Relationship Status: Single
Hometown: Madison, AL
Interests: Guitar, fishing, surfing, art, the universe and cosmos. Played golf, basketball, and baseball but can see myself playing golf the rest of my life.
An Interesting Fact: I like Asian culture. I get to learn a ton from my Korean roommate.
Favorite thing about being Head of Programming for Red Cup: Well now I am the Chief Operating Officer (COO) because we just made our new business that contains Red Cup. I like seeing the big picture. I enjoy making sure everything comes together at the right time. I also get to go to the new cities and set it up. That means I get to talk and meet so many different people. Some are asses but most are cool.
What song on your iPod is on repeat? Chrome Sparks – All there is
If people were to give you a superlative, what do you think it would be? Most likely to skip this question and come back
What is something people would be surprised to know about you? All my family come from one small Cajun town in Louisiana. Let’s just say you would love the crazy accents in the family.
What do you look for in a girl? Originality
What is the most confusing thing that girls do? Wear the big shirts. Not only does it block the view; it looks goofy to me. If there is a cell phone in the pocket hanging down and jiggling around too I will face-palm as soon as I walk by.
Do you have a favorite pickup line? If so, what is it? Yuck. Improv all the way. It’s all about being witty in the situation and a pick up line isn’t the way to do it.
What is your idea of a perfect date? Seafood and steak dinner, then go see a concert and dance. Finally, sip some wine on the beach and chill under the stars.
What’s the craziest thing a girl has ever done for you? One was sweet enough to help me out in a rough time. Friend passed in the tornado and she drove me to the funeral and was there for me.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done for a girl? Played a concert of all songs about her.
Would you rather have her make the first move or are you a traditional boy? It’s my responsibility. Part of the game and I still enjoy playing it.
What is your best memory of Alabama/Tuscaloosa and why? Graduating and having all my family in Ttown at once.
If you could only bring 3 things on a deserted island, what would they be? Guitar, fishing pole, telescope

Jessica Johnson is a senior at The University of Alabama double majoring in English Studies and Communication Studies while minoring in Creative Writing. Avid reader, writer and one-man band, Jessica is always working on a project of some sort. After spending summer 2011 interning with Atlanta's Q100 morning radio show (and waking up at 3:30am to dress for work) she has a new respect for early birds. When not playing with her three rescued mutts, you'll find her at Gallettes sippin' on a Yellow Hammer screaming ROLL TIDE ROLL!!
