If you’re into makeup, then you know the power false lashes can have to a glammed up look. They have a way of opening up your eyes more and bringing attention to your shadow and eye shape. This all sounds great, but fake eyelashes aren’t all their hyped up to be. They can attract bacteria and dirt to your eyes especially if you use them more than once which can cause infections such as pink eye. They can also make your eyes more sensitive in result of this as well. And lastly, and probably most importantly, they destroy your real lashes. The glue used to place them on the eye ultimately strips off your real lashes and also causes added pressure on them as well. When your real eyelashes get destroyed, a cycle ensues because now you feel you need lashes in order to go out in the public making your eyes more sensitive and more irritated. So how can you still maintain the lovely look of fake eyelashes without actually having to use them all the time? Simply by growing out your real ones!
Everyone’s eyelash structure is different. Some people have curlier lashes while others have more straight. What I found is universally helpful for all lashes that allows them to grow, no matter the shape is using castor oil. Castor oil has been around for centuries and has been known to be great at growing hair no matter the type. People also use it for their skin and to fight infections. Castor oil has the power to grow out eyelashes in a matter of days for this reasoning. It’s safe for your eyes due to its antibacterial properties and also safe for your skin due to its moisturizing quality. Not only is it good for length, but it’s also good for thickening. As an extra bonus tip, if you’re looking to thicken your eyebrows, this is the perfect natural way to do it. Because this oil has so many uses and benefits, you can save tons of money rather than having to buy constantly a new pair of lashes. You get more bang for your buck as you can use it for your hair, skin, eyelashes, wounds and so much more. All you need to do is put a light layer on your top lid, on your lash line and your bottom lash line, and also on the hairs themselves. I typically do this at night, after I’ve washed my face and right before I got to sleep. So in time, you will find that you won’t even need lashes! Ultimately though, if you have an allergic reaction to this oil there are tons of other oils that can foster similar affects. Typically, any hair oil should be good to serve the same or similar purpose. Just insure to look up its effects on skin.
Now that your lashes have grown full-size, the next step is just a really good mascara. Mascara means a lot in terms of lengthening, thickening and making your lashes stand out. Just any old mascara from the Dollar Store won’t necessarily do the trick. Looking for mascara’s that cater to your lash needs is essential. If you’re looking for a lengthening mascara, you may want to look for short, dense bristle brushes that’ll allow you to get from the root to tips of your lashes. If your goal is thickening, look for a thicker, densely bristled brush that’ll fluff out your lashes giving it volume. Taking some of this into consideration can make a big effect on how your lashes come out. A good all-around mascara that’ll get you both thickness and length in one go is the Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara. This mascara has the ability to curl, thicken, lengthen and moisturize your lashes all at once. Clinically proven to increase lash volume by 330%, there’s no way that by using this mascara, you won’t get the best results. The wand has a dense bristle that is thin enough to get from the root to the tip of your lashes yet also thick enough to add volume. It also comes in a cute, gorgeous, purple tube, and who doesn’t love cute packaging. All in all, using this mascara will make your lashes look like a dream, in which you will never need to pick up falsies again!
Ultimately, there are ways to go around not wearing false lashes every day. It doesn’t mean you can’t wear them at all, but simply saving them for rare, special occasions can save your eyes and your lashes a lot of damage control. Plus, if you can get your lashes to excel on their own, you won’t even need the power and effect of falsies because you have your own! And this way you can save money on buying them all the time, and always look your best as you don’t have to take them off at night. Using these techniques to better my lashes was the best decision I made concerning my natural looks in a while, and I’m sure you’ll feel the same after you’ve given it a try. You’re welcome J
