Ah, winter: a time for ice skating, picking out a tree and playing in the snow. Or for those of us who like to stay indoors when it’s cold, there’s nothing like a warm drink and a good book (or Netflix) to beat those cold weather blues. Here are seven simple recipes to warm you up:

1. Gingerbread Latte

Espresso + cinnamon + ginger = your coffee dreams come true.

2. Mexican Hot Chocolate

Add a kick to your basic hot cocoa with a pinch of cayenne pepper.

3. Chai Tea Latte

You can do the first step of this recipe in your coffeepot! Easy and delicious? Yes, please.

4. Peppermint Hot Chocolate

This cocoa has actual peppermint sticks melted in it. Martha Stewart, you are a goddess.

5. Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

PUMPKIN PIE CHUNKS BLENDED RIGHT IN. YAAASS QUEEN.

*cold weather drink for those of us who have tropical winters

6. Orange Spiced Apple Cider

You pretty much just have to stick everything in a pot aka more time for Netflix.

7. Boozy Eggnog

Leave out the brandy for a non-alcoholic version. Or don’t!

Happy Holidays, collegiettes!
