Are you interested in business and technology? Do you ever wonder how start up companies begin building their business? Have you ever been curious what it would be like to work abroad or with an international company? Well we have news for you!
Her Campus American is excited to co-sponsor the Start Up Nation Technology Fair, a technology and innovation trade show and opportunity fair for students to explore international businesses, network with top-notch innovators and of course snag incredible internships and jobs. This traveling exhibition is hitting up 15 campuses this semester, and AU is lucky enough to be on the list. Business casual attire and your killer resume are encouraged.
The business exposition will take place on Wednesday, March 2 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in MGC 3-5.
At 4:30 p.m. a very special panel will take place featuring a few of the business leaders to discuss “Going Global Challenges and Opportunities,” facilitated by Dean of Kogod Erran Carmel.
Every fair is carefully constructed to appeal to the student community, and the AU fair will feature 12 amazing organizations that you have to check out. Some highlights include;
· Zeekit, a virtual fitting room application
· Diggidi, a social network where you can get immediate feedback from someone you saw, liked and want to talk to
· Musketeer, a social network for people to help others or get the help they need
· Innovation Africa, a non-profit that worka to provide clean water, food and proper medical care to 750,000 people in Africa.
The event is also co-sponsored by Hillel, Kogod Center for Career Development, Alpha Kappa Psi, PRSSA, Kogod School of Business, Center for Israel Studies, Incubator, AU ACM, Entrepreneurship Club and AU Students for Israel.
