Spice Up Your Hot Chocolate This Winter

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at American chapter.

Regular hot chocolate can get a little old. Try these new ways to spice up your hot chocolate this winter.

Nutella Hot Chocolate- Make your hot chocolate just like normal, then stir in a spoonfull of nutella for an extra sweet treat.

White Chocolate Hot Chocolate- Melt some Netstle’s Primire White Chocolate Morsels into hot milk for a different take on hot chocolate. Add a few drops of vanilla extract to make it super sweet.

Cookies&Cream Hot Chocolate- It’s like a Hershey’s Cookie&Cream Candy Bar in a mug! Check out the recipe for it here. We’re a fan of any recipe whose secret ingredient is ice cream!

Vegan Hot Chocolate- We didn’t forget about all our Vegan readers! A great Vegan alternative to hot chocolate is steamed almond milk, vegan chocolate powder, and a dash of chili powder or a cinamon stick to really spice up this winter treat.

Try your hand at these hot chocolate recipes and comment below and tell us if you have any other ideas to spice up your hot chocolate this winter!
