1. Olay Original Moisturizer
Moisturizing is the most important part of anyone’s makeup routine. I’ve been using Olay Original Moisturizer ever since I started wearing makeup. It is a great, non-greasy product that allows your foundations to go on so smooth and evenly. It also has SPF 15 in it to protect your skin throughout the day. Olay also has different versions of this product for oily or dry skin. You can buy this at your local drugstore for around $5.50.
2. Physicians Formula Nude Wear Bronzer
Physicians Formula is one of the more expensive brands in a drugstore, but their products are worth the extra bucks! Before I found this product, I was always concerned with my bronzer causing a bad makeup line or looking orange. But not with Physicians Formula! Their bronzer goes on so sheer and blends in perfectly. Physicians Formula also claims that all their products are hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, gluten- free, paraben-free, as well as dermatologist approved. You can buy this product for about $14.95 at any drug store.
3. Nyx Liquid Liner
I don’t know about anyone else but I hate using pencil eyeliner to try to make perfectly straight lines; it’s near to impossible for me. Luckily, I found Nyx Liquid Liner to save the day. This eye liner goes on dark and the long handle makes it really easy to apply a straight line across your lash line. However, you should wait a couple minutes for it to dry before putting on mascara, because it does smudge if you aren’t careful. You can get Nyx Liquid Liner at any drugstore, Target, Walmart, and Ulta for around $6.00.
4. Eos
Living in Boone for the past three years, I have learned to keep good lip balm on hand at all times because of the wind and below freezing temperatures. I currently have about 4 different flavors of Eos lip balm. It goes on so smooth, and keeps my lips soft all day long. Not to mention every flavor smells delicious. You can get this product at any drug store for about $3.
5. Physicians Formula Natural Nude Eye Shadow Pallet
This eye shadow pallet is also from Physicians Formula, so it is a little pricier than some brands. But this pallet includes every basic, everyday color you could possibly have. From the very light highlighter colors to the dark golds and browns; it’s all there! This eyeshadow also stays on all day, so you don’t every have to worry about re-applying throughout the day. You can buy this product at any drug store for about $10.
6. Revlon Lash Potion
I tend to skip around and try new Mascara’s, but I think I am definitely going to stick with this one! It makes my lashes so thick and long all day. It is also really easy to get off at night with generic makeup remover. Revlon also claims that this mascara helps to grow your natural lashes; which I am all for! You can pick this mascara up from any drugstore for around $5.
7. Mary-Lou Manizer
Okay, so this isn’t exactly a drugstore product, but it is a fairly cheap product you can get at a Sephora store, or online at thebalm.com! I first received a sample of this product in a Birchbox and immediately fell in love. The product can be used as a highlighter, shimmer, or as eye shadow. I usually use this product as a highlighter on my cheekbones and on the bridge of my nose, and it adds just the perfect amount of shimmer. The product also stays on all day but comes off easily at night. This product is sold online for around $24.00
