With exams coming up and so much studying to do, there’s not a lot of time to make fancy meals and I’m guessing your money is running low for going out. Here’s some exam friendly foods for you that are easy to take on the go and they’ll fill you up!

First of all, let’s talk coffee. Even the people who try to avoid it, like myself, become caffiene addicts during exam week, but we don’t always have time to brew our own or hit the coffee shop. International Delight Coffee is the perfect thing for exam week because it comes in a pint, so it can be refilled whenever and it’s around $4 for the whole thing (which is how much you would spend on one drink at a coffee shop). It’s ready to go anytime so there’s no hassle over making it yourself. It’s a caffiene life saver.

If you don’t know what Clif Bars are, you’re living under a rock. They’re like granola bars, but better because they actually fill you up. If you’re running tight on time and don’t have a few mintues to spare for lunch or dinner (or even breakfast, if you’re feeling adventurous) you can eat one of these and you’ll be feeling full enough to power through your work. Plus they’re much easier to bring into the library than a huge meal.

Exam time might make it easy to forget to eat healthy foods, but don’t forget the great things that healthy foods can do for your body when you need it most! For example, apples are a fantastic form of energy. In fact, they give you as much energy as a cup of coffee! Given that they’re naturally hand held, don’t forget to throw one in your bag before you head to the library, or before your next exam. You want to be as alert as possible so that you can get the best grades as possible.

Baby carrots are another healthy exam friendly food. There’s no messy clean up or greasy fingers like with potato chips and they’ll keep you munching on something if you need some distractions from studying (like I always do). Plus carrots are a natural way to flush toxins out of the body and help keep you healthy during exam week – the worst time of the year to get sick!

Whatever you eat during exam week, keep it healthy and hand-held, and you should be good to keep going anf get awesome grades! Above all, don’t forget to stay hydrated and get plenty of sleep! Good luck!
