Festive Drinks For the Holiday Season

As Christmas day gets closer and closer, only one thing is certain: Christmas parties are bound to arise. Are you tired of the same old tacky Christmas sweater party? Here are the top five Christmas beverages that are sure to entice your partygoers this holiday season:

1. Cuppa Good Cheer Cocktail (found on whattodrink.com/Christmas)
Ingredients:
1.5 oz.  SKYY Infusions Cherry
0.5 oz. White Crème de Cacao
4 oz. Hot cocoa
1 oz. Half ‘n Half
Whipped Cream
Maraschino Cherry
 
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients into a holiday mug and top with whipped cream, red sprinkles and a Maraschino Cherry.
 

2. Candy Cane Martini
Ingredients:
0.5 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
1 oz. Vodka
1 piece Mini candy cane candy
 
Instructions:
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a glass. Add the candy cane, which will add to the flavor and turn the drink pink!
 
3. Hard Rocker Cider (found on whattodrink.com/Christmas)
Ingredients:
1 cup Cabo Wabo Reposado Tequila
4 cups apple cider
1 cup cranberry juice
1/4 cup orange liqueur
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cinnamon stick
 
Instructions:
In a pot or Crockpot, heat and stir the cider, cranberry juice and nutmeg on low for 2 hours. Do not boil. When ready to serve, turn on high for 10 minutes and stir in tequila and liqueur. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
 
4. White Christmas
Ingredients:
0.5 oz. White Crème de Cacao
1 oz. Southern Comfort
4 oz. Eggnog
1 sprinkle of chocolate shavings
 
Instructions:
Shake with ice and strain into a glass and sprinkle chocolate flakes on top.
 
5. The Chocolate Milk Whip (found on whattodrink.com/Christmas)
Ingredients:
4 oz. Chocolate milk
2 oz. Cold coffee
1 oz. Bailey’s
Whipped cream
Shaved chocolate
 
Instructions:
Using a tall glass with ice, add chocolate milk, coffee and Bailey’s. Top with whipped cream and garnish with shaved chocolate.
