The semester is winding down to an end, and you know what that means…SUMMER! As much as you claim you want to be home, you just aren’t ready for 3 months away from your college town. It’s bittersweet, so all the more reason to make the best of the time you have left!
- Go to all of your favorite Boone eateries one last time.
- Go tanning on Sanford mall.

- Take a stroll on King Street when the weather is nice.
- Order one of each kind of cookie from AppCookieCo and get it delivered to your door (don’t forget about the cookie brownie).
- Smoke in the smoke pit.
- Have a party in your dorm room with as many people as you can fit.
- Embrace being a broke college student in every way possible.
- Email your professors to see where you stand in your classes and how to get the best possible grades (remember why you are here).
- Go hiking!

- Take advantage of the FREE gym access while you can. It’s about time to start working on that bikini body.
- Go to class and make it count (Can’t stress this one enough).
- Plan lunch dates with all of your friends you won’t see over the summer.
- Tell your crush how you feel.
- Meet the new chancellor.

- Have a reunion with friends you met at freshman orientation.
- Go to all of the bars at least once more…there’s nothing else like them (even if you don’t want to admit it, they will be missed).
- Do karaoke at Galileo’s.
- Participate in Thirsty Thursday.
- Do a spring-cleaning. It will make you feel put together…I promise.
- Spend a whole day enoing.

- Pretend like it’s “all you can eat” at McAlister’s (especially if you don’t have one in your hometown).
- Schedule any last minute meetings with your advisor to figure out what you want to do with your life.
- If you have money left in your meal account, go on a shopping spree and buy the whole market.
- Meet your roommate(s)/suitemate(s) if you haven’t already.
- TRY not to procrastinate (even though we are experts at it) because finals week is coming!
- Make sure to secure a summer job/internship.
- Learn your alcohol limit.
- Pull an all-nighter (and no…I don’t mean in the library).

- Spend a whole weekend with your roomie living it up.
- Invite your family/friends from home to visit if they haven’t yet (what better season to give a campus tour?)
- Get decked out in Appalachian colors. Spread that black and gold pride!
- Track Yosef down and take a picture with him.

It’s true…college is the experience of a lifetime. Whether you have been here for a year or four, Boone has seen your best and worst moments. Believe it or not, those unforgettable moments are gone before you know it. You always have home to go back to, but you can only be a Mountaineer for so long.
