Candied Carrots:
1 pound carrots, cut into 2 inch pieces2 tablespoons of butter, diced1/4 cup pakced brown sugar1 pinch salt1 pinch ground black pepper
Through everything in a skillet and cook until soft.
Tomatoes with Basil Vinaigrette:
Cut tomatoes in half, place them on skewers and grill them. Drizzle basil vinaigrette and pepper over the tomato halves just before serving.Â
Cinnamon Baked Apples:
1 teaspoon butter2 tablespoons brown sugar3 teaspoons vanilla sugar3 teaspoons ground cinnamon1 teaspoon ground nutmeg6 large apples, peeled and sliced3 1/2 tablespoons water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a lard baking dish with the butter.
Mix the sugars and spices. Place apples on the pan and spread sugar on them.Â
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Pour water over apples and continue baking until tender, about 15 minutes more.Â
