It’s that dreaded time of year again. Finals.
Wildcats can be found purchasing unhealthy amounts of venti coffees from Starbucks, studying (or living) in the library, and it’s one of the only times of the year that Greek Row is not blasting music until 3 a.m. And, yes, I’m talking about you Kappa Sig; we can all hear you.
Finals are stressful. Nobody likes them. But, if you dig deep (really, really deep) you can maybe sort of a little bit see a few positives.
1: Finals keep you busy. In no time you’ll be back home for over three weeks of freedom without a single worry.
2: Your parents feel bad for you, which hopefully means more Christmas presents. Or a care package. Or both.
3: Late night study sessions with your friends always lead to weird moments because you’re all delirious. .
4. You can joke about how weird you were the other night at the library on Dead Day’s Eve, one of the biggest party nights of the year.
5. You feel good when you’re done.
Even though we can all agree that finals are the worst part of the year, at least when you’re done, you know that you successfully completed another semester at the U of A. And that probably means that you’re on the road to graduation. Probably.
Good luck, Wildcats! See you in the library.
