Face paint
There’s no better way to work that red and blue than by wearing them for everyone to see. Grab a friend and get creative! Who does not love a good paw print or ‘A’ painted on their face? It’s simple and cute.
Here’s what you need:
-Water-based paint made for face or body painting (to ensure it washes off easily)
-Thin paintbrush or sponge
-Glitter
-Soap and water (to remove the face paint afterward)
If you aren’t into drawing, write out GO (right cheek) WILDCATS (left cheek) or BEAR (right cheek) DOWN (left cheek).
In hurry to get ready for the game? No need to panic, just stop by the bookstore and pick up some face decals instead. It’s simple, just peel and stick.
Makeup
You can even show off your Wildcat pride by changing up your eye shadow colors. Make your eyes stand out with spirit by layering some red and blue. You can make your eyes pop even more if you add some red jewels above your eyelid.
Nails
Change-up your nail colors to represent U of A! You can do the usual red-blue mix on each nail or switch between colors. It’s always cute to add some designs too. The simple touch of a paw print on the nail of your ring finger or index finger makes your nails pop. Making your nails sparkle is also a great touch. Add some silver glitter on top of your nail polish before adding your topcoat; it’ll make them stand out even more.
Lips
You know that bright red lipstick you have at the bottom of your makeup bag? It’s time to bring it out! Accentuate those lips and everyone will be sure to love it.
Hair
Twist it. Curl it. Pull it up into a messy bun. Do a French braid. Whichever you decide to do, add a pop of red! Get some red ribbon and tie it around your ponytail or pin it to your twist. You can even add a red bandana and wear it as a headband by tying it around your head and tying the ends into a bow.
