Love is crazy, isn’t it? It’s a feeling that can make your heart race with just a slight brush of the hand, and keep you awake all night, walking under the stars, lost in thought. Every time you meet them, it’s as if the sun has come out after a long, cold winter, and you can feel the warmth spreading through your body. You can’t help but smile a little wider, fix your hair, and take a deep breath, trying to calm the butterflies in your stomach.
But when you realize that you can’t picture the next few years of college without them by your side, it’s time to gather up your courage and ask them out. It’s like stepping out into a stormy sea, not knowing what lies ahead, but determined to reach your destination. You take a deep breath, feeling the wind and salt spray on your face, and plunge into the waves, hoping for the best.
If you find yourself in this situation, here are a few ways to ask them out on campus:
- Take them to the sky bridge -The sky bridge offers a breathtaking view of the surroundings, making it a perfect spot for confessing your love to someone special. Imagine the gentle breeze caressing your faces while you gaze into each other’s eyes, creating a magical moment that feels straight out of a romantic movie. With such a charming atmosphere, it is hard to resist falling in love. Or you always have the option to threaten them that you’ll jump if they reject you. - Getting them flowers and a note- is a thoughtful gesture that can make someone feel loved and appreciated. It doesn’t have to be a grand gesture, as sometimes, the simplest things can have the most significant impact. Gifting someone a beautiful bouquet of roses or lilies can brighten up their day and bring a smile to their face. Even a small crochet or paper flower can show how much you care about them. Adding a heartfelt note to the flowers can make the gesture even more special. It’s an opportunity to express your true feelings and let them know how much they mean to you. A heartfelt note can be a charming and romantic way to convey your emotions, and it’s a gesture that won’t be forgotten easily. With such a sweet and thoughtful gesture, there’s no doubt that they’ll be swept off their feet.
- Ask ChatGPT to write a poem for them: If you’re looking for a way to express your love to that special someone, consider the power of poetry. Whether you want to create your own heartfelt verses or prefer to leave it to the experts, like ChatGPT(and have your “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” moment), a poem can make a lasting impression on the recipient.
- Make them a PPT and present it in RH2 TV Lounge- If you’re looking for a creative and unique way to ask your crush out, why not consider making a PowerPoint presentation? Start with a title slide that reads “Reasons Why You Should Date Me,” and then move on to a series of slides that showcase your personality and why you would make a great partner. For the first slide, consider adding a humorous or lighthearted image to catch their attention. Then, list some of your most compelling qualities in a fun and engaging way. The demonstration will not only convince your romantic pursuit but also yourself that you are worthy of them.
- Hack their computers and display advertisements promoting you- are you a CS major? guess what your next project is. Hack into their device and send them advertisements asking them to date you on every website. Yes, this may seem very creepy if they are not into you, however, if you are pretty sure that they are, this could be a really over-the-edge and quirky way of asking someone out.
- Take a buzz feed quiz- The ultimate quiz to test the reality of what the other person feels about you. You can make them take a quiz and gaslight them into thinking that they like you.
- Write them a Her Campus article- What better way to express yourself than with words? Communicating how you feel through words is the most genuine way of expressing yourself. So yes, I think writing them a Her Campus article is quite an interesting and charming way of asking someone out. They are truly lucky if this is how they are being asked out, and they better come to meet you right after your class and hug you really tight.
This brings me to the whole reason why I am writing this article; to tell a certain someone (who gets me haldi milk when I am on my period, who calms me down when I am stressed, and with whom I am willing to spend all my days), meet me right after class?
