This week the eyes of country were on Arizona as we all waited the fate of Senate Bill 1062. This (now vetoed) bill proposed that Arizona businesses should have the right to deny service to gays and lesbians if they felt it conflicted with their religious values. Many Arizona businesses took to Facebook and Twitter announcing that they would still continue to serve all customers regardless of the billā€™s undecided fate. Larger companies such as Apple, Marriott, Delta, American Airlines and AT&T all called for Gov. Jan Brewer to veto the bill. Even the NFL, who is hosting the Super Bowl in Arizona next year, stepped forward saying that they would monitor the issue. Ā Many celebrities and comedians took to Twitter to voice their frustration with SB 1062, below are a few of my favorite reactions to this bill.
