How unfair is it that Europe is known for their to-die-for fashion and those of us back in the United States are deprived of so many killer stores. I know, this is enough news to make any fashion fanatic tear up a little bit. Luckily for you, I have comprised a list of some of my favorite, affordable stores I have grown to love while being abroad and the best part? They each have an online store that ships internationally! So go grab your credit cards and let the fun begin. Beware though, after shopping at these stores you will be hooked and Forever 21 will be a thing in your past.
Bershka (http://www.bershka.com)
Bershka was love at first sight for me. This Spanish company is your new go-to when you are looking for fun and flirty colors and patterns. Bershka aims their products at a younger market (ages 18-25). With eye-catching products at affordable prices, what isn’t to love!
River Island (www.riverisland.com)
A little bit more expensive than your average Forever 21, but well worth it. River Island has stores located all over Ireland and the UK and is known for their excellent quality. Their in-house design team creates most of the clothes sold here. River Island prides themselves on their perfect mix of trendy and classical pieces. Stand out. Shop here.
Zara (www.zara.com)
Many of you have probably heard of Zara by now: excellent quality at an affordable price. Whether you need casual business wear, the perfect night out staple or a simple brunch outfit, Zara has it all. Unfortunatly Zaras located in the United States are nothing compared to the Zaras located in Europe. American Zara stores suffice our craving for the Spanish based store, but we can’t help but feel jipped. Thankfully Zara has a fully stocked online store, making Europe feel a bit more like home.
Mango (www.mango.com)
Mango is a to-die-for clothing store that, much like Zara, has great quality clothing at affordable prices. The fact that Mango was founded in Barcelona is just the beginning of your love affair. Need an outfit to ace that job interview? Or what about a jaw dropping outfit for that first date? Mango is your go to store for any occasion, piece and/or accessory. Shoes? No problem. Handbags? Got it. Now go take a look at their store and let me know when you can pry yourself away from the screen.
Pull and Bear (www.pullandbear.com)
Pull and Bear, another Spanish based store (those Spaniards really know fashion) is the perfect place to find affordable, flowy, colorful, beach clothing. I like to think of Pull and Bear as the perfect mix between Brandy Melville and Forever 21. With their preppy California lovin’ vibe, Pull and Bear steals our hearts. Honestly, I do not know how they have not opened a store on the west coast yet. Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself.
Topshop (www.topshop.com)
If you haven’t heard of Topshop by now, you need to. When you think European fashion, Topshop should come to mind. This store embodies any fashionista’s dreams. With the latest trends at affordable prices, you will fall head over heels. Personally, I adore their unique shoes and pants. Topshop has pieces that are unique that cannot be found anywhere else. Although it is becoming more prominent across the US, you may just have to wait your turn for a store opening. Heartbreaking, I know. But lucky for you, Topshop has an online store! No need to thank me twice.
Primark (https://www.primark.com)
Primark stared in Dublin, but you have probably heard about this store from those who have visited London. This store is perfect if you need to grab a cute cheap shirt or sweater. I like to call Primark the Forever 21 of the United Kingdom. With dozens of styles, prints, and colors, you are sure to find something that catches your eye. Primark is the perfect place to try that trend you have been contemplating without breaking your bank. With so many options, make sure to dedicate sometime to search through each piece.
Now get to shopping!
