I’m a senior so this will be my fourth Gala experience. It’s always so much fun to see professors outside of class, eat great food, listen to live music, and hang out with friends taking pictures of everyone not in comfy study clothes for once.
My favorite part of Gala, though? Getting ready. I love the process of getting dolled up with my friends in our rooms, sharing mirrors, giving each other makeup and hair advice, and overall just complimenting each other’s outfits. It’s one of those bonding moments that I know I won’t forget, even when I’m 85 and losing my memory.
