I’ve thought about several ways I could start this blog post. There are so many angles.

Should I talk about how single I am? No. That would be depressing.  Lonely life #represent #StillGettinThoseWaxes #wink.

Should I write up some lingerie suggestions for the ladies? I could do that. Maybe I will?

What about a rant on how to treat your man on this special day? They need some McLovin’ too, ya know?

I’ve never had a Valentines Day date. All those exes conveniently work around it. I strongly believe that Cupid and my Love Horoscope app have a plan.

What I am going to do for you today, is walk you through my ultimate dream Valentine’s Day date

Whether you think this date becomes completely unrealistic, that’s your opinion and your opinion doesn’t matter. This is between me and Cupid, and my Love Horoscope app.

I pick my setting to be somewhere on the West Coast. I want to say San Francisco but it can get real chilly there, so something tells me a little Orange County will be calling my name. Can’t resist those palm trees (or Mischa Barton (she’s never washed up to me (O.C. forever in my heart))).

It’s morning and I am sitting in my favorite coffee shop. I’m drinking coffee. Not chai.

The Boy surprises me by coming into the café around 11:00am. He is wearing a scarf because he is stylish.  He brings a yellow rose to start the romance because it is my favorite color, and he knows I don’t care that a yellow rose only means “friendship” in the art of flower lingo.

Side note: I’m wearing red lipstick because I want it to be just like T. Swift’s “Begin Again” music video.

Normal stuff happens during the day and then it’s nighttime. Scandal.

Not really.

I walk into my apartment later, and The Boy has classically transformed the place into the dim lighting, more rose petals, lit candles, and soft romantic music kind of thing. The usual.

Then, after we cuddle, he takes my hand and leads me to the rooftop access part of the apartment that I never knew existed.

He has decorated it with strings of patio lights, a light blue patterned quilt, and succulents.

Yeah.

The Boy goes all out.

We eat only chocolate covered strawberries and laugh. I don’t know, I guess we aren’t that hungry.  When we stand up we can look all over the city. It’s dark out so the lights from the streets down below give off the vibe of belonging to the fairytale kind of world.

We are leaning against the edge of the roof because it’s thrilling. He puts his arms around me, kisses my cheek, and then everything just fades to black.

That’s all I got though. Maybe throw in some For Love and Lemons Skivvies.

Live large and sparkle.

XO Flo
