It’s back, Batesies! One of the coolest weeks on campus, in my opinion: Sex Week. The Public Health Initiative club and Residence Life work incredibly hard to put together a week full of fun and informative events relating to healthy relationships, sexuality, and all things “sex” with three goals in mind: normalizing conversations and communication about sex, sexuality, and sexual health, embracing sexuality and increasing accessibility to sex education, and increasing awareness and literacy about sex-related resources on campus.
There’s a full calendar of programmed activities, including an a capella concert, cookie decorating, lectures and discussions about myriad topics like anal sex, feminism and faking orgasms, and bi/pansexuality, and sex trivia and karaoke. Be on the lookout for these events in the Bates Today emails, and I’ll see you cats around campus!
