Sunday at brunch time is one of my favorite parts of the weekend. Roommates discuss the interesting events of the previous night over a breakfast, served at lunchtime, that cures. It involves, food, chitchat, and lounging around; sounds good, right? Try these ideas next Sunday with your roommates to make your brunch that much more interesting.Â
Make a Frittata
Just because it is in another language doesn’t mean that a frittata is complicated. In a skillet, throw in any veggies and meat you like: onions, peppers, broccoli, mushrooms, spinach, diced ham, or even sliced steak. Cook all of this and then add cheese and MORE CHEESE (because cheese is amazing, enough said). Let it melt a little before adding eggs that you have already whisked together. Help the egg spread around the pan a bit and once it has cooked around the edges, throw the entire skillet into the oven at 400 degrees for about ten minutes. Cut it like a pie and serve it up to your roomies.Â
Stalk Twitter
Looking at Twitter on a Sunday afternoon can be entertaining, especially when accounts like BC Makeouts and BC Bananas exist. Plus, you cannot forget to check out Her Campus BC’s Twitter account to get all the latest updates! Go through the feed together and get some serious laughs to help start your day on the right note.Â
Go to the Plex
JUST KIDDING. Sit in your pajamas for approximately three hours before being productive. You should feel good that you ate a frittata as opposed to massive amounts of breakfast potatoes and reward yourself by actually being, a couch potato.
So although it is just Hump Day, you can’t help but look forward to brunch on Sunday. Have a great Sunday!
