It’s Halloween season, and decorations and costumes aren’t the only things that give us a fright. Here on BC’s campus, there are many scary things that could happen to us students on a daily basis:
1. Opening a bag of chips in Bapst.
If you want to have everyone studying in Bapst Library to give you a death glare, then definitely make as much noise as possible. Bapst’s silent nature will give anyone goosebumps.
2. Tripping down million dollar stairs.
Probably everyone’s biggest fear on campus. The million dollar stairs stretch from lower to middle campus and are in the full line of sight of those passing by and studying in O’Neill.
3. Hearing a knock on your door on a Friday night.
A knock on your door on a Friday night when all your friends are inside can only mean one thing. RA.
4. Housing registration day. Period.
BC is notorious for stressing its students out over the housing lottery. It even has the capability to break friendships as pick times fail to be drawn.
5. When your professor says the exam isn’t curved.
You studied as much as you could, but you get the exam back and it is not the grade you wanted. You hope for a curve… right as your professor announces that it will not be. Yikes.
Try to avoid or make the best of these scary situations on campus! Happy Halloween!
