With fall in full swing, it’s the perfect time to purge and replenish your makeup bag. Even though most makeup lovers probably have tons of lip balms, eyeliners, and blushes, it’s so much easier to find beauty products that multitask or ones that are absolute necessities. By streamlining your beauty routine, you’ll be sure to save time and money! Here are a few tips and products to get you started.

Find Your “Holy Grail” Products

Every girl is sure to have her “holy grail” products: that mascara that makes your lashes look gorgeous, the lipstick that can be worn every day, the eye shadow that makes your eyes pop. Not everyone will respond the same way to different products, so test out a few that look interesting and reassess. Once you find one that you love and that is effective, stick with it and stock up! This way, you’ll be using the products that you love and that make you feel your best.

Purchase Multi-Purpose Products

Today, lots of beauty brands are producing items that have more than one purpose. If you’re looking to cut down on clutter, try a product like Aquaphor. It can be used for pretty much everything: to tame unruly eyebrows, to moisturize lips and hands, and to soothe dry patches. There are also other great options like NYX’s dual-ended eyeliners and Philsophy’s shower gels, which can be used as shampoo, body wash, and bubble bath!

Eliminate Extraneous Products

One of the most important steps in streamlining your beauty routine is to figure out which products work best for you. While rummaging through your makeup bag, take notice of what you use on an everyday basis and what you haven’t used in months. If there are a few products that have sat at the bottom of your bag for weeks, toss them! Chances are you won’t use them anytime soon. Use the products that are essential: things like an eyelash curler, mascara, blush, and lip gloss. Hopefully these tips will help you revamp your beauty routine and keep you feeling great all season long!
