As my mom always says, “Undergarments are everything.” And this piece of wisdom is something I try to remember everyday while getting dressed. Have you ever had the issue of wearing a strapless dress with only a regular bra? Or a backless shirt with the whole back of your bra showing? Or even worse, you don’t know what Spanx are? Here are some underwear accessories that are going to make your wardrobe that much better, and malfunctioning less frequent.
Fashion Tape:
If you have a cleavage-questionable shirt, or a loose dress that won’t stay put to cover up “the girls,” Hollywood Fashion Tape is your new best friend. The double-sided tape can go directly on your skin or on your clothing to make sure your shirt or dress keeps in place. Fashion Tape is also helpful when it comes to sealing that annoying peep-hole your button-downs tend to make.
Sticky Boobs:
My personal favorite: “Adhesive Bras” a.k.a Sticky Boobs. If you own anything that is backless, or shows your back past the bra line, this bra is crucial. The whole bandeau thing can work, but the Sticky Boobs give you a more polished, sexier look. This bra gives off the illusion that you’re going commando on the top half, but it still lets you avoid the saggy look.
Spanx:
A gift from God in themselves. If you don’t own a pair of Spanx, you’ve been living life so wrong. Spanx gives you a “blemish-free” look that you can really rock with any outfit: tight pants, that tight black dress, the tummy-accenting skirt. Spanx basically smooth all the rolls and “problem areas” and give your clothes a nice fluidity. Although we should all be confident women within our own bodies, it is always nice to have Spanx to rely on for that extra confidence boost!
Undergarments are key to looking put together and qualified to rock the scandalous shirts or dresses. They really do make the difference in an outfit, and a night out without wardrobe malfunctions.
