Other Lives just finished their sophomore album, Tamer Animals, which has a dreamy, folk-like quality similar to artists Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes. The instrumentation, which intricately combines cellos, violins, clarinets, keys, trumpets, and drums makes for a must-see performance, for “Nearly every member pulls double and triple duty [on their instruments]… and in a live setting, the band constantly shifts and repositions to hit every mark” (pitchfork.com).
