About The Organization:

For those who don’t know, what exactly is the Boston College Dance Ensemble?

BCDE is a group of thirty girls who are technically trained and danced competitively in high school. We all share a love for dance and wanted to continue to perform in college!

What upcoming events are you planning?

Our annual show is this Friday and Saturday night at 6:30 pm in Robsham. Each of our shows has its own theme and we are super excited for our Vegas show, Roulette, this semester! What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas…

What is your favorite part about being a member of the organization?

My favorite part about being a member of BCDE is being part of a club on campus with people who share the same passion for dance. Also being able to spend time with some of my best friends on campus every week, including my roommate Morgan McCaskey!

What do you look forward to as an organization for the rest of the semester?

After our show this weekend, we are very excited to get working on our set for the annual ALC Showdown!

How has being a dancer at BC shaped your time at BC?

Dancing at BC has allowed me to meet friends I otherwise wouldn’t have met, which I’m so grateful for! As Social Chair, I’ve also enjoyed organizing events for the team outside of dance when we all get to hang.

How can others get involved?

We hold auditions each fall for anyone who is interested in joining the team, but we encourage everyone to come check out our shows. We love having an enthusiastic audience and everyone on the team has awesome friends who love to support DE.
