Mr. Campus Freshman 2015 – Meet Nick!

Meet Nick, the final Mr. Campus Freshman 2015 Candidate!  Nick has a thing for spontaneity and adventure, and will never leave you bored.  He was born in the city of love (Paris!) and has traveled the world, but for now he loves living on Newton and being at BC.  Anyone who knows Nick will agree — one smile from this Campus Cutie and your heart will melt!

Activities/Clubs:  I’m in Way Point Adventure; it’s a service club in the First Year Service program.  We go on outdoor trips with people who have physical disabilities.
Best class:  Computers and Management, Professor Gips is the man.
Bapst or O’Neill:  Bapst, but I do most of my work in my room.
Favorite hangout spot:  I have to represent Newton on this one.  It’s the place to be.
Favorite place to eat:  Hillside.  I love the Baja sandwich.

Favorite TV show:  The Office or It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Favorite sport:  Track and Field.  I was a pole vaulter all throughout high school.  But I love playing golf the most.
Pet peeve:  Showers that I’m too tall for.  Unfortunately, I face that pet peeve every day.
Dream vacation:  I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world with my family, but one place I’d really love to go is Australia.
Embarrassing moment:  When I was 8 years old on vacation in Jamaica there was a talent show and my friends and I went on stage dressed in fat suits.  The emcee asked what our names were, and I said “fat bastard” because I thought it would be funny, but I had no idea it was a bad word. The audience was silent, and afterwards my mom told me what it meant and I was so embarrassed.
Dream job: To be on the PGA Tour.  I love to play golf.
Favorite concert:  Avicii
Favorite person:  My mom hands down.  She does everything for me and I would not be anywhere that I am today without her.  She’s the best.
 
Love Life
Ideal date:  On an ideal date, I’d start it out with a nice dinner and then do something spontaneous and unplanned.  I like surprises.  It has to be something crazy and fun – boring isn’t my style.
Celeb crush:  Emma Watson
First kiss:  I was in 7^th grade and we were watching a movie together.  I was so nervous that it took me until the very last scene of the movie before I could do it, even though we both knew it was coming the whole time.
Ideal girl:  Someone that is never awkward and that I can easily talk to.  She has to be outgoing and someone who likes to go out and have fun, but she also has to be down to chill sometimes.
