Basics
Name: Ryan Santacrose
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
School: A&S
Major: Undecided
BC Life
Activities/clubs: Emerging Leaders Program, Learning to Serve-a UGBC club with inner-city service and reflection, and I tutor kids at St. Columbkille School in Brighton.
Best class: Courage to Know with Father Joe
Bapst or O’Neill: I like to let the beard grow out and use the Law Library on Newton.
Fun Facts
Favorite movie: Zoolander for my funny side and Good Will Hunting for my serious side.
Pet peeve: Awkward silences. Whenever there is an awkward silence, I have this physical need to immediately fill it.
Dream vacation: My family is largely Italian, so I would love to go to Italy and bomb around famous cities and eat good food.
Most embarrassing moment: At the beginning of the semester, I was getting dinner in Stuart at prime dinnertime. When I was handed the tray of my pasta with marinara sauce, it hit the glass, spilled all over my white shirt and the plate shattered. I froze, and had no idea what to do. I didn’t end up eating dinner that night because I was too embarrassed to go back.
Fun fact: I tweet a lot. One of my nicknames is Santa so my twitter is @santadoesexist. Follow me!
Talent: I play the guitar. My favorite songs to play are “Wonderwall” and “Collide.” Right now I’m learning “Just a Dream” by Nelly.
Dream job: General Manager of the Chicago Bulls
Favorite TV show: My root TV show will always be The O.C
Favorite concert: John Mayer or O.A.R.
Favorite person: My little sister Nina. She has down syndrome, and she is the cutest, happiest, most loving person I know. She always makes me feel better.
Love Life
Ideal date: Going to dinner somewhere nice, but not too fancy, and maybe going to a concert after. I’m a classy guy.
Celeb crush: Ellie Goulding. She’s the perfect combination of talented and pretty. I saw her live at Lollapalooza and was in heaven.
First kiss: My first kiss was on Valentine’s Day sophomore year of high school. At my school you could send people roses, and I didn’t send the girl I liked a rose. Later when we were talking I said, “Do you want to know why I didn’t send you a rose? Because I’d rather do this,” and kissed her.
Ideal girl: Someone who is fun to go out and have a good time with, but also someone you can just kick it with and talk.
