Wow. We are (almost) done. It’s crazy to me that my freshman year of college, a huge milestone in my life, is nearly over. I don’t think a year has ever flown by faster than this year did. I took classes that I never thought I would, made some mistakes, and learned a heck of a lot about myself. I never knew that I would be studying for a real estate exam, running a fashion blog, and writing for Her Campus at the end of my freshman year. I have grown so much this year, and I cannot be more thankful for the way BC has encouraged me to grow both professionally and personally. But most importantly, I have met the most incredible friends. Friends that I will have for life. Friends that I know will always be by my side, no matter what. These friends have encouraged me to grow this year, and have been there for all the mental breakdowns, and all the celebrations.
Sure, I love going out with my friends, and I have some pretty funny memories from Garage and the like. We have all done some stupid things, but at the end of the day, all of these things have made great stories, from the woods night to the Masters party. I will never forget my freshman year nights, because these have been some of the best, most enjoyable nights of my life.
But for me, it is so much more than that. Some of my fondest memories are from hanging out in someone’s room or the connector lounge, laughing about who knows what for no reason. The friends that I have made this year have definitely changed my life and my perspective on what it means to be a true friend, and I cannot thank all of them enough for that. It feels so nice to know that I have amazing people by my side for every step of the way. Amazing people that will help me whenever I need it, and that will go out and have fun with me whenever I need it. The people I have met at BC have been incredibly genuine, intelligent, and caring people, and I cannot stress how thankful I am for these people, but especially for my best friends.
You guys are literally the best, and I don’t know what I will do without all of you for the summer. Watch out Williams, here comes Kappa Kappa Coro!
