Our Favorite Celebrity BFFs

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Let’s face it: we love celebrities. They’re endlessly entertaining and talented and attractive. And since, for the most part, we only see them on a screen or in a magazine, it’s hard to imagine them as real people that we can relate to.

I mean sure, the magazines are obsessed with their section of candid photos that say, “hey Jessica Biel goes to the grocery store, she’s a normal person!” But I’m of the general opinion that what shows that they are relatable and real people are their friendships and how they act around their BFFs.

If I could insert myself into any celebrity friendship, it would most definitely be one of these amazing combos:

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon

The most perfect celebrity friendship to ever exist. I don’t know how it began, but I know I never want it to end.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon

They met in Little League. They’re from Boston. They’re hilarious, attractive, incredibly talented, and a great team. They’re proof that true friendships do exist in Hollywood. If this video of them winning an Oscar for Good Will Hunting in 1998 doesn’t make you smile like crazy then there is something wrong with you.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler

These two amazing women met at an improv class in Chicago, and the rest is history. From SNL to movies to hosting award shows, these ladies are the ultimate dynamic duo.

George Clooney and Brad Pitt

Both have been awarded Sexiest Man Alive more than once, so it just seems right that these two have a serious bromance going on. After meeting on the set of Oceans Eleven, Brad and George have remained close ever since and love to play pranks on each other, like the time George impersonated Brad on the red carpet.

Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox

As Rachel and Monica in Friends, their friendship made us laugh and cry, but even greater is the fact that it maybe wasn’t all acting—they are still best friends to this day.

Which celebrity friendship is your favorite?
