There’s nothing like finals to make you just want to leave your books in O’Neill, catch the next T to South Station, and leave that Psychology exam behind. Maybe it’s an old idea to romanticize the idea of the open road, but there is one thing that has always been on my bucket list: a cross-country road trip. However, as it often does, life usually gets too busy (and gas too expensive) to make my “On the Road” dreams a reality. But, as you can imagine, I will be sure to have the perfect playlist when I finally do. So, whether you are “Going to California” or just driving back home for winter break, be sure to check out this playlist to make the highway seem more alive. Also, don’t forget to send me a postcard.
“Going to California” – Led Zeppelin
“Yours To Keep” – Teddybears
“Fortunate Son” – Creedence Clearwater Revival
“Dashboard” – Modest Mouse
“Postcards From Italy” – Beirut
“Drivin’ South” – The Jimi Hendrix Experience
