Ring in Spring with New Nail Polish

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Here in Boston, nothing says spring like warmer weather, lighter clothing, and iced coffee.  But, for me, the best part of spring is getting to wear all of my favorite but forgotten nail polish colors that are buried underneath all of the maroons and grays from winters past.  I’ll admit that I’m a huge nail polish hoarder, and I can often be found gazing at the nail polish displays at the Cleveland Circle CVS on my way home from work.  Most of my polishes are some variation of a spring or summer color, so I absolutely cannot wait to rock my favorite spring manicures and pedicures (especially now that sandals are becoming a part of our wardrobes again)!  Something about having pink and purple nails makes summer feel closer and that snowstorm last week a distant memory.

When I think of spring colors, I think of light pinks, corals, and pastels, which are perfect for day and night and flow seamlessly from work to play.  I have put together a list of my favorite classic and brand new colors for springtime from my three favorite nail polish companies.  These colors are sure to put some pep in your step even if the cold weather lasts just a little bit longer than we all hope.  And just because people cannot see your toes does not mean they should not be painted hot pink!
