The Sophomores of the Boston College Club Hockey Team

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

You always hear about how Boston College is a big hockey school. I mean, I guess it’s true seeing that both our men’s and women’s Division I teams won the Beanpot, our men’s team won the conference championship, and our own Jerry York is the most winningest hockey coach in the NCAA…yadda yadda yadda. What you may not know is that Boston College’s club hockey team is just as talented and successful (and, in my opinion, better looking) as our D1 teams. The team is currently placed 6th in the northeast conference out of 26 teams and is heading to regionals.  If they win two more games, the team will head to nationals for a chance to win a brand new trophy to add to Boston College’s collection! Last year I was lucky enough to live on Newton and become friends with a handful of club hockey players who happened to live two floors below me in Duchesne East. One year later, and although we live on opposite sides of campus, we’re still close friends and I still brave the cold Dexter Arena to watch some of their home games!

So what do you do with some crazy, funny, and cute athletes?  Make them Campus Cuties of course!
