I’m sure you’ve experienced this pattern every weekend.
1) Laying in bed saying you’re not going to go out since you don’t feel like finding plans.
2) Getting convinced to go out and eventually getting out of bed and feeling excited.
3) Eating dinner (preferably some carbs).
4) Crying about how bloated you look.
5) Trying on 10,000 outfits and running to your friends’ rooms to ask for their opinions.
6) Blasting music and getting more excited to go out.
7) Doing your makeup and ending up on the verge of tears when it comes time for top eyeliner.
8) Recovering from the trauma of top liner and then burning yourself with a curling iron.
9) Giving up and straightening your hair.
10) Taking cute hallway pics.
11) Blasting Fetty Wap, and quickly pre-gaming because where did all the time go?!?? You had so much time to get ready!
12) Rushing out the door and trotting/teetering/stumbling out to the Uber in heels
13) Getting to the party/bar: “Where are drinks, and where are cute boys?”
14) OMG this is my song!!! *grabs girls and start dancing*
15) After lots of dancing and a few too many shots, flirting and drunkenly making out with the cute kid from your Econ class, then realizing he’s not even that cute
16) “Ok yeah I’m ready to leave guys” *one person says they want pizza* “OMG PIZZA. I’ll order Domino’s in the Uber!!
17) *Struggles to gather the group back together as someone manages to order an Uber*
18) *Struggles to find the Uber outside*
19) *Struggles give the Uber driver directions to your dorm*
20) Loudly clambering back to someone’s room together to wait for pizza and obsessing over that Econ boy that’s now texting you (“Okay fine, he was cute.”)
21) DOMINOS IS HERE.
22) Falling asleep in your makeup from the night (bonus: fall asleep in your dress and double bonus: your heels)
23) Getting woken up by one of your friends that miraculously has energy, and dragging yourself to the dining hall looking homeless
24) Getting food and spending an hour at breakfast reliving the night.
25) Having some regrets, but not regretting the time out with your friends.
So next time you go out, see how many of these stages you go through!
