We all have those random thoughts that pop into our heads when we take that nice walk, or sometimes sprint, to class. Here are some of the thoughts that BC students have only when walking to class:
-
“This walk is definitely burning off that late night Mac attack I had last night.”
Because we all like to tell ourselves this.
-
“Wait, was my essay due this Tuesday or next Tuesday?”
That sudden heart attack moment.
-
“I shouldn’t have finished that season of Parks and Rec last night.”
Even though it felt right in the moment, you are not feeling it right now as you walk to your 8am.
-
“Okay, so I have about a minute until class. Do I still have time to run to Mac and get food?”
You know you definitely don’t have time, but you’ll try anyway.
-
“How many hours do I have until I can nap?”
Naps are the highlight of the day.
-
“Great, I’m way too early for class… thanks Newton bus.”

-
“Why are these people walking SO slow?!”
Excuse me, I have to walk from Devlin to Merkert and don’t have time to stroll.
-
“Is the salad line at Eagle’s really worth it?”
Hard life choices right here.
-
“Why is the temperature so confusing? I’m sweating right now and I thought it was supposed to be cold.”
Isn’t fall supposed to be sweater weather?!
-
“How many songs can I fit in before class starts?”
Because you need to finish that jam sesh before class.
-
“Don’t trip don’t trip don’t trip.”
I have to constantly remind myself not to trip so I don’t mortify myself in front of the entire student body.
-
“Did I have any homework?”
Praying silently to the homework Gods that the answer is no.
-
“I’d much rather be in my bed right now.”
What better feeling is there than getting into bed after a long day?
