As a Christmas enthusiast, I am proud to admit that I have been listening to Christmas music since November 1st. Even though I have considered it Christmastime for a good couple weeks now, many of you will finally be coming around to the holiday lights and music following Thanksgiving. With this in mind, here is a list of delicious holiday cocktails that are sure to spice up any gathering from an ugly Christmas sweater Mod party to a classy Christmas Eve family gathering.Â
Winter Sea Breeze
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 oz grapefruit juice
- ½ oz tonic syrup
- 2 oz soda water
- pomegranate seeds
- 3 mint leaves (used for garnish)
The Grinch
- 2 oz Midori
- ½ oz lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of simple syrup
Gingerbread Martini
- 2 oz vanilla vodka
- 1 ½oz Kahlua
- 1 ½oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 3oz gingerbread syrup (Check out this link for directions on how to make homemade gingerbread syrup!)
- 2 ½oz half and half
- Gingerbread cookies and whipped cream for garnish
Cranberry and Rosemary White Christmas Sangria
- 1 Granny Smith Apple
- 1 Braeburn Apple
- 1 cup of fresh cranberries
- 1 large sprig of rosemary
- 1 bottle of Pinot Grigio
- 1/2 cup of white grape juice
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 can club soda
No matter what the festivity, these holiday drinks are a fun and delicious way to spread the Christmas cheer!
