Trend Tribe Live
Learn what it really takes to break into the fashion industry and be the first to shop the fall collection of Trend Tribe’s affordable accessories
I am so excited to announce that on Thursday, September 18th we will be teaming with BC’s Women in Business to host a jewelry trunk show and Q&A with the founder of Trend Tribe, Samantha Cooper.
As a freshman in college, Samantha started her own jewelry business; putting together her own marketing campaigns, planning her own trunk shows, and proving her entrepreneurial spirit seriously impressed employers. The next summer she landed her dream summer internship at the acclaimed fashion empire, Barneys New York. She’s a perfect example of what hard work and dedication can get you.
According to their site, “Trend Tribe is more than just a jewelry company, it’s a career launching point for its team of college ambassadors. Trend Tribe helps college students get a chance to break into the fashion industry by providing them with the training, tools, and resources to create and execute 4 fashion events/marketing campaigns on campus each semester. Essentially, Trendsetters are in charge of their own fashion company and learn first hand how to build a fashion brand from the ground up.”
Come for a night of jewelry, socializing, and career advice. Get the chance to browse some of Trend-Tribe’s amazing jewelry and hear from Samantha about what it takes to make it in the fashion industry and starter your own business. You will also be able to learn about how you can become a Trend-Tribe Trendsetter on BC’s campus. Trendsetters gain skills in marketing, PR, ecommerce, social media, branding, event planning, and communications. Not to mention, Trendsetters earn a ton of free jewelry!
So stop by Stokes 213S at 6 PM THIS THURSDAY for a fun night of jewelry and career advice. I mean, is there a better combination? I don’t think so!
