Wearing Your Guy’s Clothing: Spring Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

So it’s a new month, a new season, and hopefully the start of six months of warm weather! My boyfriend and I have come to an agreement that I can steal his clothes, but I have to give something back then. If you haven’t checked out my first men’s clothing article, click here. If you’ve already seen it, I have three new additions to my wardrobe and here are some tips on how to wear them!

T-Shirt

I love working out in baggy shirts because I hate having tight, sweaty clothes on (seriously gross). I wore his navy blue tee, my bright pink shorts, and sneakers for a seriously comfy workout outfit.

V-Neck Sweater

This sweater is sooooooo comfy. Took some effort to get it into my closet, but so worth it. Bright blue shorts and Sperry’s, and you’re ready for a beautiful day skipping class in the Quad. Kidding, stay in school kids!

BC Sweatshirt

Sure I have my own BC stuff, but you can never have too much, right? These olive pants and bright patterned flats are the perfect way to dress up this big sweater.

So there you have it, three ways to wear men’s clothing. No boyfriend? No problem! I buy men’s clothing for myself all the time. I have at least three men’s v-neck tees in my closet that I bought (they are so soft!). Just make sure to tell any crushes that the clothing did not belong to an ex ;) No guy wants to snuggle with you in a sweater smelling like your past fling.

Happy convincing your boyfriend to part with his clothing!
