On August 25th, Taylor Swift came to town for her Reputation Tour at Nissan Stadium. I’ve been to a few of her shows in the past (Fearless, Speak Now), and she never fails to deliver an amazing performance and an amazing show. So even if this was your first TSwift concert or your seventh, you were definitely gonna have a great time!

Charli XCX started off the night with dance party hits including “I Love It”, “Break the Rules”, “Boys”, “Fancy”, and “Boom Clap”. People were up on their feet and dancing around. People were singing to every word and essentially were there to have a good time.

Next was Camila Cabello singing many of her famous hits, including: “Never Be the Same”, “She Loves Control”, “Inside Out”, “Bad Things”, and “Consequences”. She sang “Can’t Help Falling in Love” for the couples in the audience. She then ended her set with her most famous song, “Havana”.

Finally, Taylor Swift came out to “…Ready for It?” The crowd was excited and up on their feet. Everyone was ready to dance and sing and just enjoy the show. In the first number there were fireworks going off and fire coming out of the top of the stage. Taylor was singing “I Did Something Bad” and “Gorgeous”. Taking us all back, she sang a mashup of “Style”, “Love Story”, and “You Belong with Me”. We were singing every note. Next came “Look What You Made Me Do”, “End Game”, “King of My Heart”, and “Delicate”.

During the show she crossed from one side of the stadium to the other to sing to the people in the back. Taylor then sang “Shake It Off” with Charli XCX and Camila Cabello. Next came “Dancing with Our Hands Tied” and “Better Man” the song sung by Little Big Town. She went into “Blank Space” and “Dress”. Getting into a floating skeleton of a snake, she sang a mix of “Bad Blood” and “Should’ve Said No”.

Taylor sang “Don’t Blame Me” then she went for a piano to perform an older hit, “Long Live”, merging “New Year’s Day” in as well. This led to her singing her oldest hit “Tim McGraw” to which Faith Hill and Tim McGraw came out to finish singing with her. She ended the night with “Getaway”, “Call It What You Want”, and finally, a mix of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” in which she danced around a giant foundation with fireworks going off.

Overall the concert was a fun and delightful experience, and Taylor Swift has a talent for blending her older songs with her new songs at the best times. She gave an amazing performance with giant snakes, talented dancers, creative costumes, and a great pyrotechnic display that was definitely worth braving the Nashville traffic for.
