Bella Cassizzi ‘20

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Meet Bella, the world traveler from the West Coast who’s making her mark on the Bentley community!

Name: Bella Cassizzi

[Current] Hometown: Los Gatos, California

Major/Minor: Marketing, with a minor in Global Studies

Class: 2020

Her Campus Bentley: What’s in the Bella Cassizzi starter pack?

Bella Cassizzi: Hmm…green tea mochi, Athleta clothes, chicken nuggets, and Pitbull’s Greatest Hits (*whispers* Dalé!)

HCB: Any hidden talents?

BC: I played piano for 12 years.

HCB: What’s a fun fact about yourself?

BC: My mom is from Hungary so I can read and understand Hungarian pretty well.

HCB: Tell us a little about the different places you’ve lived.

BC: I was born in Austin, Texas and then moved to London, England on my 6th Birthday (my birthday party was at the McDonald’s in Heathrow Airport). Then, we moved back to Austin for a bit, and soon my mom got a job out in LA so we moved to Manhattan Beach, California. I lived there with my family for all four years of high school—and then, the summer before moving into Bentley, my family moved to Los Gatos, California….WHEW!

HCB: What made you want to look at the east coast for college?

BC: The east coast was one of the only places I hadn’t lived in the U.S. and I knew I was looking for a business school. The schools on this side of the country really stood out to me.

HCB: Any siblings?

BC: I have a younger brother who’s a sophomore in high school (‘Sup Victor!)

HCB: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

BC: Hot Cheetos, but I probably wouldn’t live that long.

HCB: You just won a million dollars. What are you spending it on?

BC: A large supply of PINK sweatpants and vacations. I want to keep traveling around the world.

HCB: Where to next?

BC: Canada

HCB: What’s your dream job?

BC: I’d like to work in a marketing department for some sort of entertainment company, because I’ve always been interested in the arts but didn’t see myself pursuing it as a career. That would be the best of both worlds for me.

HCB: What was your last Google search?

BC: What’s the closest Six Flags to me right now?

HCB: What’s your favorite 3AM activity?

BC: Welp—right now probably listening to the symphony of obnoxiously loud sounds our upstairs neighbors constantly make. *Psssst* If you’re playing Just Dance 4, at least invite us up.

HCB: Top three things you look for in a guy?

BC: You have to have a sense of humor for sure—and also athleticism, and you definitely have to appreciate the dedication I put into sending the perfect memes ;)

HCB: Celebrity Crush

BC: Gregg Sulkin, love him <3

HCB: Favorite Color?

BC: Blue

HCB: Favorite Netflix Binge?

BC: New Girl—ugh, love Schmidt!

HCB: Favorite place on campus?

BC: The mailroom…haha, I kind of have a problem

HCB: Favorite event on campus?

BC: Back to Bentley!

HCB: Favorite Bentley memory?

BC: Definitely crying from laughter at my friend in the middle of calc class when she opened her ginger ale and the ENTIRE bottle exploded all over her, drenching everything within a two-foot radius.

Native New Yorker Brooke Camarda has had her eclectic share of jobs—from the runways of NYFW to the haunted hallways of NYZ Apocalypse. Commonly known by her alter ego of Wonder Woman, there's no task or adventure that the skydiving-enthusiast isn't willing to take on. She loves typography and cappuccinos almost as much as she loves her (very) big family, and is thrilled to be writing for Bentley University's chapter of Her Campus.
