Her Campus Bentley: Favorite Food?
Devin Monserrate: Probably mac and cheese. Especially my mom’s’. All about the homemade, oven baked. Second best from Panera.
HCB: Favorite Song?
DM: Choosing a song is like choosing a favorite child, i just can’t do it.
HCB: Favorite Movie?
DM: The Usual Suspects.
HCB: Favorite Hobby?
DM: I used to do a lot of stuff, play basketball, draw, sing, dance, but now i’m just a netflix guy.
HCB: Favorite Bentley Bathroom?
DM: The all gender bathroom on the second floor of Morison. There’s a shower in there, a bench, some rags, some bars of soap. I thought that was pretty cool, I use it whenever I can now.
HCB: Favorite store:
DM: Taco bell
HCB: Something few people know about you:
DM: Im mixed race. I’m black, Puerto Rican and Dominican – but I don’t speak Spanish.

HCB: What do you consider your best feature?
DM: My laugh, it’s very infectious
HCB: Boxers or briefs?
DM: My entire drawer is boxers but I prefer briefs. Someone buy me more briefs.
HCB: Famous Girl and Guy Crush?
DM: Paul Pogba – he’s a professional soccer player. He’s just a beast, bro. His hair is always on fleek. Scarlett Johansson – she literally just like does everything.
HCB: Who would play you in a movie of your life?
DM: Michael B. Jordan
HCB: What is the most awkward/uncomfortable thing that has ever happened to you?
DM: Back in first grade, there was this girl Sasha, she had these hazel eyes and blonde hair – she was so cute. At the end of the school day we had to line up at the fence so your parents could pick you up and I was planning on telling her I liked her. She was with her friends, and I found the courage to go up and tell her. She replied and said “oh really I like you too”. I was so excited, until she paused, then said “no I’m just kidding. And all her friends laughed at me. Heartbreaking. But I feel better about it now because I saw her six years later and she was gross looking.
HCB: Would you rather have awful B.O. or bad breath?
DM: Bad breath, it seems easier to hide.
HCB: What’s your ideal superpower?
DM: To take other people’s superpowers.
HCB: But how will you know if anyone else has super powers/What if you’re the only one with superpowers?
To create anything out of thin air. Or save the economy.
HCB what’s the thing you eat most at seasons?
Cocoa puffs.
HCB: Are you single?
DM: I think so
HCB: What’s your favorite quality in a girl?
DM: Has to be funny
HCB: Any last words?
DM: Everyone better be at Karaoke For The Kids at the pub on December 6th. I’m pretty sure that’s when it is.
