A few fellow HC Bentley collegiettes and I decided we needed to get off campus and head into Boston for a day. The city an easy 25 minute Bentley Shuttle ride from campus and from the stop in Harvard Square you can get to just about anywhere. This leads to great window shopping and, most importantly, eating.
Getting to Boston is the easy part. Where to eat, however, is deliciously complicated. We made a list of our favorites and decided to follow our stomachs once we got into the city.
Â
Luckily for us, Pinkberryis right next to the Harvard T. What’s not love about frozen yogurt and copious amounts of toppings ranging from fresh fruit to fruity pebbles?
Personally, I am excited for the Fresh Fruit Bowl. Each bowl is made to order and topped with their signature Swirly Whip (original fresh made whipped cream). Not only is this combo of fruit and cream delicious and healthy, it leaves me room to continue our foodie-journey through the city.

Mr. Bartley’s Burger Cottagegourmet burgers are the talk of Harvard Square (especially after their appearance on The Food Network’s hit show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives!).Â
I had gone for the first time for a roommate’s birthday and immediately fell in love with their Snickers Frappe and college themed sandwiches. There’s the Yale, The BC, The BU, The Tufts, and, of course, The Bentley, among many others.
Â
Chicken tacos are the must have at Border CafĂ©. Beginning with the hot, homemade chips that are bottomless and the drinks for days, Border is a great choice for students. Not only is their food delicious, but totally inexpensive. The restaurant is always packed and loud, yet fun, which leads to a great dining experience.Â
Â
Our dinner stop is Hurricane O’Reilly’s. Within walking distance of the TD Garden,it is only right to do dinner there before heading to my first ever Celticsgame! Â
Hurricane O’Reilly’s carries Boston’s love of sports through dinner with round booths and a sports club atmosphere. This is the perfect setting to get us amped before the game.
Â
When we’re in the mood for something sweet after the game, Mike’s Pastryis our obvious choice. Usually when someone hears Mike’s, they think cannoli. However, my roommate and I have fallen in love with their lobster tails. A delicious combination of crunchy yet soft dough filled with sweet pastry cream that you think you can eat for days. We are prepared to bring some home with us when we go because we have the rest of our friends hooked too.
