Homecoming Recap: A Freshman’s Perspective

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Activities

The weekend kicked off Friday night with Flex’s birthday bash. It included Build-A-Bear, goldfish in a jar, lawn games, and student organization run activities.

On Saturday you could find traditional tailgate games like corn hole as well as an entire field full of carnival games. Can toss, balloon darts, and more – there was something for all ages.

Food Trucks Galore

Something I’m beginning to realize is that Bentley students love food trucks, and this weekend there certainly was no shortage. A few of the fan favorites were the whoopie pies, Belgian waffles, grilled cheeses, and the Boston Burger Company. Homecoming is the perfect place for any foodie to try fun, creative new snacks.

The Football Game

Although the Falcons didn’t score a win, the energy in the stands was inspiring. With music from the band and unique Bentley cheers, the crowd was full of school spirit.

Freshman Thoughts

I had absolutely no idea what to expect for my first Homecoming. I thought it would just be like any other football game, but I quickly realized it is much more than that. Homecoming is the time when students, families, and alumni come together to show how proud they are to be Bentley Falcons. Go Bentley!
