This past weekend, Bentley University had a grand opening for the debut of the Bentley Arena. Festivities began Thursday afternoon with a reception in the arena for students, staff, and faculty to take a tour of the new facility. New Bentley Arena shirts were distributed and goodies were served—including this amazing cake!

Students, parents, alumni, and visitors came to the inaugural game to celebrate the opening of the arena on Friday night. Bentley’s D1 Hockey Team played Army for an intense opening game! The inaugural puck drop was performed by President Gloria Larson before the men took the ice. Bentley scored first, and the arena went wild! The energy in the room was a sensational feeling. Unfortunately, the night ended in a loss for Bentley.
Saturday was yet another amazing game in the arena vs Army—and this time Bentley won!
On Sunday, the Bentley Arena was transformed from a hockey rink to a stadium. Bentley’s CAB hosted the annual Comedy Show with Wayne Brady. It was neat to see the arena transformed, and done so quickly! The students enjoyed the improv comedy show, and laughed through all the business connections he made.
Be sure to catch the last hockey game of the season in the arena this Saturday night!
