Some fashion trends come in and out every few seasons– take a look at my list of new-again trends for fall!
Polka Dots
Polka dots are once again the “new” fashion trend for fall 2012! Personally I think polka dots are super fun to play with because they come in a variety of colors and size. Whether the dots are placed randomly, in a specific pattern, or all over, they usually attract a good amount of attention. Bold polka dots give you a more dramatic and eye catching look while micro polka dotted details presents a chic or girly look.
The look I came up with is just a simple polka dotted top from H&M for about $25 and tan colored jeans that you can probably find at Forever 21 for less than $20. I paired it with light blue/teal colored flats because I want to add a little more color to the outfit to spice it up a little.Â
Colored JeansÂ
Your blue jeans may be the well-known classics for all seasons, but to keep the popularity of jeans during this chilly season, you might need to add a pair of colored jeans in your closet! Colored jeans instantly add happiness (at least to me) to any outfit in this cold season.
My favorite colored jean for the fall is this plumy reddish jean from H&M for $24.95. I pair it with a neutral yet embellished top from Rickety Rack. Any neutral colors will go with this but I just want add a little sparkles in the outfit.
Leather Jackets
A leather jacket is such a great investment because leather just never seems to go out of style. Leather jackets can give you many different looks; from punk-rock style or just add a little edginess to your outfit. Katie Holmes is layering a simple white tee over this luxe leather jacket. The close fitting and straight jacket gives a very feminine touch to her outfit.
My favorite leather jacket is this one from TopShop. I was browsing online the other day looking for a leather jacket and this just caught my eyes! This leather jacket is super soft yet leathery looking. It has a long line style that I absolutely adore. Also I just love the fact that this is collarless. For some reason, collars just bother me. I rather have a scarf over this jacket than a collar any day!
