We all enter into senior year with the best intentions of really getting our lives together. Our goals include, but are not limited to: getting a job, maintaining or growing the GPA, staying organized, trying not to party too much (especially during first semester), going to every class, and creating the perfect balance between school, work, and our social lives.
This is basically what happens as the final year at Bentley progresses…
Â
For the first two weeks: Attend all classes and prepare for all assignments ahead of time
For the first month: Stay pretty motivated with school work and balancing your social life
Mid-October: Start skipping a class here and there, get distracted by looking at potential Halloweekend costumes, bank account heavily affected
November: This month flies by, midterms end, and then Thanksgiving break rolls around
December: Panicking because somewhere between week two and Thanksgiving, you stopped really paying attention to classes. Finals. Less sleep. What the heck happened to my bank account?!
Â
**Cue winter break**
Â
January: Back to school! Syllabus week all over again. Fresh start. Have we accomplished any of those goals yet? (Probably not…)
February: This is the longest month because there are no more breaks to look forward to until next month. You’ve started paying less attention to class and more attention to having the most fun while you can
March: SPRING BREAK MONTH. All month long, very little work gets completed. You might have a midterm or two, but at this point you’re probably employed or in the process of getting hired.
April: Reality is starting to hit… Wait, you mean we have to be adults soon? Panic.
May: Finals. Bahamas. Tears. Graduation. Celebrate.
…Real World.

Thank you, Bentley!
