Travel with Contiki!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Are you looking for the chance to travel but don’t have the ability to study abroad? Or maybe you went abroad for a semester and are dying to go back? Contiki Vacations may just be the perfect answer for you.

Contiki is a travel company that caters to 18-35 year olds, providing international tours that combine just the right amount of sightseeing and scheduled activities while leaving us collegiettes with plenty of time to explore on our own.  Contiki offers trips in over 46 countries and across 6 continents, ranging from 3 days to 6 weeks.  These tours are very customizable while remaining affordable—what more could you want?

How about a free vacation? That’s right – as Her Campus’ newest corporate partner, Contiki is currently running a “Have Contiki, Will Travel” sweepstakes.  Entering is super easy and you could win a free tour, including Mediterranean Highlights, London and Paris + Amsterdam, European Magic, Greek Island Hopping, or Italian Espresso.

Bentley’s study abroad programs are an amazing experience, but it’s not an option for all students.  We all know that we tend to be overachievers, and while a major, LSM, and assortment of minors are true accomplishments, it might mean that you don’t have the flexibility to fit a semester abroad into your complicated schedule.  That doesn’t mean you should miss out on the chance to travel while you’re young and not tied down in a 9-5 job though! Contiki is a hassle-free and convenient way to finally visit the country(s) of your dreams.

Another great component of Contiki is their experience.  The company was established in 1962 so they definitely know what they’re doing.  Also, Contiki uses local managers and tour guides so you’ll get inside knowledge and advice on your trip.  The tour guides, your Contiki Crew, arrange all the headache-causing travel details for you, and are there to explore with you.  Contiki’s expertise also means that they know how to negotiate the best prices for you.  Finally, a Contiki tour means you won’t end up stuck in a sketchy hostel, trying to figure out how the train system works, and clinging to your last Euro.  Instead, you’ll have a fun, adventure filled trip while retaining a sense of freedom.

While you may have never heard of Contiki, you’ve definitely heard of Her Campus—and it’s a name you can trust.  Her Campus finds the best corporate partnerships for collegiettes to get involved in, and don’t forget, you could win a free tour! So grab your passport and travel with Contiki!
