The leaves are no longer bright and colorful and the trees hang naked and bare. Every few minutes someone coughs or sneezes in lecture and Binghamton is becoming bitterly cold again. Binghamton sweatshirts and apparel fill the moving sidewalks and UGG boots trot along the âbrain.âÂ
When the long week of work and exams are over, many students enjoy going downtown to let loose and party. The issue with this is, most of us arenât properly dressed for the outside weather when we go downtown. There isnât (for the most part) a place to hang up our jackets and sweaters and if we go bundled up, we will quickly get warm. Hereâs an alternative: do something else!
There are many different things to do for fun in the Binghamton area. Mikey Snow, sophomore, says he âreally enjoys going to the movies as a nice break from the downtown scene, especially when itâs a wholesome film with a nice message.â
Talya Keschner, junior, says âI love going to Friendlyâs with my close friends. I love sitting down to ice cream and just hanging out with them.â
There are a few unknown places in the Binghamton area that are loads of fun. Â
Brett Aiken, senior, says his favorite place is Chucksters (http://www.chucksters-vestal.com/) where he enjoys playing Aeroball with his friends. They also have mini-golf, jumpsters and a climbing wall. Â
At Skate Estate (http://skateestate.com/) you can play laser tag, go skating or play in the arcades. Just because weâre in college doesnât mean we canât have a good time. Â
The most fun place of all is TR Events (http://treventsofbinghamton.com/) where you can go to paintball, to play laser tag or to âopen bounceâ where you can play in a bunch of bouncy houses. It may sound childish, but it is the most fun youâll ever have!
The next time you donât know what to do and want to have fun without heading downtown, look into these options for the best times of your college experience. Go crazy!
