For those of you who are avid fans of the hit television show Made in Chelsea, you will all know the love him or hate him marmite figure that is (drumroll please) Spencer Matthews. The Eton educated Chelsea boy has garnered a reputation as a bit of a ladies man through his various relationships in the scripted reality show. Self-proclaimed lothario Spencer has dated a string of women both on screen and definitely off. Initially Spencer started off as the love-sick puppy in MIC, chasing after the unobtainable Caggie in attempts to make her another one of his conquests: the usual story of unrequited reality television love.
However as the seasons have progressed, so has posh boy Spenny’s bad boy image. He’s gone from being the rather sweet, if not a little desperate man chasing after Caggies affections – to the man that proclaimed the reasons for his infidelities with ex-girlfriend Louise, were because she “allowed him to” in a very ungentlemanly rant . This along with various other cheating scandals that came with his next two unlucky girlfriends have only reinforced his self-perpetuating reputation. So it would appear that with the fame that comes with a being a part of a Bafta award winning television programme, Spenny has become reality televisions ultimate love-rat.
And to top of Spencer’s apparently amazing charms of sexual persuasion (See long list of ex-girlfriends/conquests) he has seemingly managed to use his celebrity allure to charm his way into the bed of one of our very own Selly Oak residents. After making an appearance at Monday Madness, Spenny proceeded to continue the madness back at Hubert Road with the unnamed lucky lady. It appears his lothario prowess extends much further than the city limits of London and the Kings Road than we initially thought.
With his sexual boundaries apparently being limitless, who knows what part of the country Spenny and his love-rat ways will extend to. The only thing we can be absolutely sure of is that his smug face and perfectly coiffed hair will not be leaving our television screens anytime soon.Â
