November 28th is quickly approaching and what better way to give thanks to our parents than completely taking the task of Thanksgiving off of their hands?Â
First, let’s cover the décor.
Sometimes it’s hard to find the words to say to express what you’re thankful for. Well this Thanksgiving, write it down! When putting the place settings down, include a little note, like the one from this blog, next to everyone’s plate so they have a chance to express what they are thankful for as well.
Before you put your delicious turkey on the table, you’re going to need an equally awesome center piece for your guests to gawk over. Try using a vase filled with pine cones, or lots of candles and flowers.Â
You can also add a little decoration to the dining room by hanging a banner. Pinterest has a lot of different ways for you to make printable banners saying anything you want.
If you tell your parents you will take over the duty of Thanksgiving, you better believe they’re going to expect you to cook too, so you’re going to need to know how to cook the turkey. Plus, you’ll have to make some desserts, too! Check out these Pilgrim Hat Cookies, Oreo Cookie Turkeys and Oreo Balls (okay so they’re not festive but they’re seriously so good!)
Apple Cider Sangria and Raspberry-Ginger Cider make great options for after-dinner drinks!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and good luck! Share your favorite recipes with us in the comments below!
