Her Campus: What activities are you involved in on campus?
Tia Franzone:  I am currently involved in a campaign to raise money for Camp Victory by promoting the Love in Bloom film on Monday, April 28th, 7:00 pm. Our goal is to raise $1,500. Camp Victory is a special camp for special kids. Camp Victory is home to a diverse group of children. Children who come to our camp live with a daily battle of chronic health problems, physical or mental disabilities, or the aftermath of having to live with chronic health problems, physical or mental disabilities, or a tragic illness. I’m also a fourth year member of Theta Tau Omega.

HC: Why did you choose to join the sorority Theta Tau Omega?
TF: Because at Theta Tau I found a real sense of connection with the girls. I felt like I could always be myself and always be accepted. I have gained over 60 everlasting friendships with these girls and I know I will continue to have these relationships after I graduate.

HC: What do you hope to accomplish with your Mass Communications degree?TF: I hope to be a Public Relations specialist based out of New York City at a well known company.

HC: What has been the most rewarding experience of your time at Bloomsburg so far?TF: I would have to say receiving a email confirming that I will be graduating in May. It is a mixed feeling of relief, success, fear, and happiness when you’re preparing for graduation. I couldn’t be more proud of myself at this current point in my life.

HC: Are you sad to graduate in the spring or are you more excited for what your future holds? TF: I am sad that I will be leaving Bloom and all my friends, and I’m even sadder that I will have to start paying back my student loans. But I am really excited to get into the real world and start the interviewing process.

HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?TF: I see myself living in New York City or in Jersey City, working in Public Relations with a steady relationship and hopefully a really big pretty ring on my finger.

HC: What is your dream job?TF: My dream job is to work in the Public Relations or Marketing department for Red Bull the energy drink. They are an international brand and it would be a dream to work for them.
