The final Countdown to graduation is here! You’re finding yourself sitting in class thinking I’m not going to miss this, listening to your Energy professor who barely speaks English talk about solar panels. However, there are so many things that you will miss. Here is a list of all the things at Bloomsburg that you can’t wait to leave behind and things you will yourself reminiscing about everyday.
You won’t be missed…
- Campus Food.
- The Gloomsburg rain that never seems to end.
- The fact there are only three bars to go to in the entire town.
- Sitting in the library stressing over getting your paper into the BOLT drop box before 11:59pm
- BOLT in general.
- Being broke ALL THE TIME.
- The infamous hills we walk up to get to class.
- The constant awkward tension at the rec.
- Sitting in classes that don’t interest you but you need them to graduate.
- Waiting for the shuttle.
- The long lines at the Husky.
- Scheduling classes on ISIS.
- Advisors that SUCK.
- Finals and Midterms.
- Terrible landlords.
- Parking ticket Nazis.
- Fighting for a bed at Dark Side.
- Bipolar weather.
- Scary townies.
- Buying textbooks
- Printing at the lib
Why we don’t want to leave…
- Being surrounded by friends 24/7
- Being with your sorority.
- Having a meal plan and not having to cook ever.
- Wearing cropped tops out and it being acceptable.
- Sitting in the core classes you feel you actually get something out of.
- Wing night at Capitol and GODs
- Coming and going as you please a.k.a. freedom.
- Not having a job (for those fortunate enough to not have had one at school).
- Being in walking distance of all your besties.
- Sharing closets with all of your friends.
- Marley’s peanut butter beer.
- Getting ready to go out with all of your besties.
- Sushi Sunday.
- Day drinking on those rare perfect Bloomsburg afternoons.
- Block Party!
- $3 pitchers at Hardware.
- Movie nights with your friends.
- Pigging out on food that is most likely terrible for you a.k.a. Fat Sunday.
- Your everyday attire consisting of yoga pants sneakers and sweatshirt
- Deciding that class just isn’t happening for you one day. (This won’t happen in the working world).
